Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 12 from 9am to 4pm. We will have live bands, a bake sale, and a silent auction to help the Kamas Theater raise money for the needed digital projector. Many of the movie studios are planning to stop making movies available in film format as early as January 1, 2013. A basic projector without all the bells and whistles is about $65,000. The Kamas Theater has been serving Summit County since the 1940s. We believe that with your help we can raise the money needed to save this historic landmark and continue entertaining and inspiring right here in Kamas.
